Peaches (Keisha) is still a bit naive and confused when it comes to sex so she decides to seek out Dr. Thunderpussy who eventually sends her on a voyage to meet a spiritualist (Jamie Gillis). Alex de Renzy's PRETTY PEACHES was one of the best hardcore movies ever made and it got a sequel that was equally funny. This third film appears to have a lot of very positive reviews out there but sadly I'm not going to be one of them. I really thought the first two films in the trilogy were extremely funny and well-made but this one here just seemed like a typical porno where everything was about the non-stop sex and nothing else. You might be wondering what else would one want from a porno but to me the best are able to do more than just show sex scenes. The first two films in the series had very funny stories and de Renzy's direction really brought them to life but everything here just struck me as by-the-numbers stuff without any comedy. The scenes were good for what they were but there's just not much here that separates this from the countless other hardcore titles out there.

Pachard's dramatic arc is sensational in this strange film, unorthodox in the world of adult films, and which gives a fairly realistic portrait of the underworld in a destitute neighborhood of any American city in the 80s. In that sense, things have not improved much after 40 years, but a film like this, with explicit sex as the backbone of a sad and unhappy plot, is unheard of today. It is a type of film that has died with video and the absence of talent.
The cast, with a sublime Colleen Brennan in her dramatic performance, and so realistic in her physique, advanced in years and with cellulite, far from the young porcelain stars, offers a range of actors and actresses perfectly adapted to the sordidness of the script. Featuring Sharon Mitchell in a role that works very well for her, and that could generate more than one nausea to the most sensitive viewers, or those not familiar with sexual fetishes.
Accustomed everyone to the mocking, comedic tone of the vast majority of porn films from the Golden Age of the genre (1970-1985), "Getting Personal" is a real thorn in the side for those who have always believed in the "American dream", but also for those who went to the movie theaters with the sole purpose of getting excited by disconnecting from the critical spirit or dramatic sensitivity.

Impossible love, toxic romanticism, sex addiction... these are the pillars on which Damiano builds a well-written story (perhaps one of his best works, although forgotten), well-directed (providing different textures depending on the narrative), and very well-acted (aside from its explicit sexual roles) by a really great cast that offers realism and drama in equal parts.
A young man (a Jerry Butler who plays a strictly dramatic role, and from which he comes out on top) enters a village bar in the Deep America, where the bartender immediately starts a conversation with him, and tells him the story of the Blair family, whose mansion drags along all kinds of legends, especially related to the hypersexuality of its members throughout the last three generations.
When the boy says goodbye, after having gathered the information he was looking for, he goes into a phone booth to inform Damiano himself (Mr. D.) who, in an unusual cameo, then shows us the beginning of the filming of his new movie, of course related to the report on the young man and the Blair family. His conversation with Candida Royalle (the other cameo) borders on misogyny, and is an example of the prevailing sexism of the time.

The premise revolves around a cruise line run by a captain woman (a still-inexperienced Cody Nicole) that caters exclusively to "exiled" female clients or those simply seeking to escape male pressures of any kind. The husband-and-wife team of David I. Frazer and Svetlana Mischoff has earned a reputation for their adult comedies featuring large casts of fresh faces and action-packed plots. "White coater" was a term given to porno movies that avoided prosecuted by being passed off as an "educational picture". In 1969 the Supreme Court ruled that I AM CURIOUS (YELLOW) wasn't pornography because of it being education and this here pretty much opened the flood gates for various producers to make hardcore pictures but in an educational way.
SESSIONS OF LOVE THERAPY is one of these movies and for the most part I found it to be rather entertaining. The structure of the film is pretty simple as we're introduced to the doctor, then the patients and then we see their sexual issues and how they work on them. At the end of the film the four couples once again show their progress by having sex on a yellow bed. That's pretty much the entire movie but it actually works quite well and in fact I've always enjoyed this sub-genre.

Algerian-born self-proclaimed Euro Porn King Lasse Braun (a/k/a Alberto Ferro as well as "Falcon Stuart") made his fame as a superior "loop" director in the late '60s and early '70s, shooting some of the most amazingly intense intercourse featurettes then – or since – semi-legally available, working across the globe in those countries whose relaxed censorship laws allowed him to strut his stuff free of authoritative hassle. On the surface, American DESIRE appears to be formulaic in the extreme, the even then already tired tale of a married couple jointly deciding "to see other people" in order to spice up their unadventurous sex life. It's a good measure of Braun's genius as a fornication filmmaker and, credit where it's due, the excellence of his star cast that such doesn't even begin to register as a hindrance to the hardcore heaven that awaits the ardent aficionado within.

This otherwise fairly run of the mill late '70s porno is elevated above the norm by an impossibly groovy disco soundtrack. For more info, check out other comments. Allow me to fill you in on some of the additional details as to some of the people on both sides of the camera. Director "Carl LaBlanche" was actually the late John Christopher, a modestly talented filmmaker responsible for flicks like BABE and VELVET HIGH. Cinematographer "Anna Riva" proves to be none other than exploitation queen Roberta Findlay and I've got a hunch that producer "J. Angel Martine", linked to so many of her directorial efforts, might be yet another alias for the lady herself. Everyone involved has done much better elsewhere but the cult reputation of many should assure a good deal of interest for the adult film aficionado and/or completist.

Billy (Zachary Strong) is a rather weird young man who doesn't have a very good way with women. Several women want him but he just can't ever finish the deal. He goes home with one woman and before long he's telling her about his peanut butter fixation and how it tied into some of his weird sexual stories.
With a title like CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE PEANUT BUTTER FREAK you had better live up to it and thankfully the movie does. I pride myself in trying to track down and watch some of the strangest movies out there and there's no question that this here might be the king of really weird movies that is constantly shocking you and making you laugh. You know you're in trouble whenever John Holmes plays the most normal person in a movie. The 70's offered up many great porno films and this one here deserves to be mentioned among them. It's certainly the strangest that I've seen from the genre.

Carol Connors returns (after “Erotic Adventures of Candy”) as the ditsy, goofy blond with two big assets walking down the Hollywood walk of fame while the soundtrack rips off the Bee Gees 'Stayin Alive’. Written and directed by Gail Palmer, one of the few female directors working in the porn business in the 1970s and 80s it is a fluffy sex comedy that parodies those young vacuous women who come to Hollywood seeking fame and fortune. On the corner of Hollywood and Vine she meets sleazy Johnny Dooropener (John Leslie) who promises to make her a star and then promptly hypnotises her to suck him off by making her think she is licking ice cream. BTW, the character at the end of the film who tells Candy that he's also going to Washington, D.C. where he has relatives in high places is supposed to be Billy Carter, black sheep brother of then President Jimmy Carter. The character is even seen carrying Billy's trademark can of beer.

This triple X-rated comedy mixes sex and laughs in equal amounts, if you're in the mood for some seventies style swingers from Germany that is. Thosw who prefer to watch well honed bodies and people that actually look good, please look elsewhere. Hans Billian's pictures feature the kind of people you might bump into walking down the street (thirty years ago). Most of them may not look like much, but at least they are real people practicing actual sex and on the whole, they really seem to be enjoying themselves. Sepp Gneissl, known to some as the German Ron Jeremy, has the time of his life playing Kasimir Zwickelhuber, debt collector. His nickname, 'Kukuckslkleber' comes from the fact that any item he impounds gets stuck with a sticker of a cuckoo. Being a reasonable man, Kasimir allows his debtors (all female, of course) to settle their debt in Natura. The deal is for him to auction the women off and settle all costs without their husbands ever finding out. All participating women are naturally tested by Kasimir first, and receive his cuckoo stamp of approval on their behind, 'the one place their husbands won't notice it'.

Film starts out to be funny, then gets weird, and "Felicity Split" seems to be having trouble focusing her eyes; more like a zombie following directions. I felt sorry for the actress, clearly it seemed she was in a production that consumed her. Lots of of closeups of her rather pretty face, large Betty Boop eyes and defined cheekbones, but her catatonic reactions, silly smiling and staring were barely tolerable. After the first 15 minutes of fun and laughter the audience got quieter. Overall this film is a few notches above standard 16mm loops, in the same class of a similar film titled WET RAINBOW, with another obscure ingénue with one starring credit to her name. This is one of a handful of BETTER BUDGET ADULT FILMS that were very popular in the early 1970's. I noticed that hippie culture and hippie references were COMPLETELY absent from these films; in that sense they were mainstream even though there were huge centerfold ads for the premiere in Screw Magazine (a defunct New York underground newspaper).

The Lewis "Brothers" (director Louie, producer Elliot, with "sister" Jo Ann joining them on occasion) are rightfully revered among porn fans for their quickly shot, cheaply produced yet star-studded little numbers which always looked like they cost a whole lot more than they actually did. Mainstream take-off 8 TO 4 may have proved their biggest success but still wouldn't make it into my personal top 3, consisting of TOUCH ME IN THE MORNING, PLEASE MR POSTMAN and this delightful romp inspired by another Dolly Parton flick, in this case THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN Texas.
The Chicken Ranch becomes the Feline Farm, a rural bordello run by third generation Madam Mavis, played by genre goddess Annette Haven. A local preacher man wants to put her out of business and it's up to the proprietress and her girls to thwart his efforts. There's a little bit more to the plot with new boarder Tammy Sue (delicious Danielle, the "woman who was born hot" as late porn critic cum filmmaker Jim Holliday christened her) being shown the ins 'n' outs of the play for pay business, but this is basically wall to wall carnality.
