What does life taste like? For the 40-year-old Nikki, this question can be answered very simply: after semen. She runs a video blog and travels through the countryside in search of people and their stories with their Land Rover. She interviews the most diverse people letting them tell about their lives. Life tastes different for everyone, because where desires and longings differ, so is the view of life. Uncommented, Nikki lets people speak, gives them a voice, only to take control again. The cheerful lady is the link between the most varied stories. The stories are different, at best to be described as loose fragments, which then content again down so without sense and reason to the audience, that this is literally pushed off the head. There are two ladies lying naked on a rock talking about Bockwurst, a man in the forest confronted with his possible impotence, or a lady on a couch who knees on her head a few minutes later located between the legs of an elderly gentleman. The film portrays life in an associative collage about the topics of sex and relationship, guilt and religion, meaning and nonsense of conventions - and thus gives a voyeuristic insight into the desires and desires of the protagonists.

Kärlekens språk is a beautiful movie about love and sexuality, be it sex between young or old, homosexual or straight it tries to show sex and relationships like they really are. This is the kind of movie that really makes you care for its characters. In one word i would describe this as cute. Through the plot, we meet a couple of doctors who discuss and explain a wide selection of sexual topics in a relaxed and open minded way,- which makes me think this movie should be used as a part of sexual education in schools. We meet a lot of young new actors/actresses in this movie, and on the whole i think they do a good job,- they are bold and unafraid to delve into scenes involving nudity and sexuality, and the end result feels very innocent and sweet as a result. If you are an openminded individual who doesn't necessarily freak out over seeing an erected penis, i emplore you to sit down and watch this sort of different but very good Swedish film.

That's good - probably a memory problem sometimes in Firefox with multiple downloads
If it works for you, then that's fine - I have had problems with Firefox not handling memory properly and other people reported the same

With each retelling the absurd becomes believable, and this even though each version is different. These kids use sex to hurt, but they don't realize it at first. A marvelous story and direction.

A submissive hooker goes about her trade, suffering abuse at the hands of Japanese salarymen and Yakuza types. She's unhappy about her work, and is apparently trying to find some sort of appeasement for the fact that her lover has married. Most films dealing with prostitution that I've seen have been very straight forward. In other words, the characters have been very loud, and to the point about what's going on in their heads. However, the lead character in Tokyo Decadence comes out differently than you might expect . In most films that portray prostitution as a hard and unsettling life, ( Whore, Leaving Las Vegas...) the main character is trying real hard to act like they enjoy what they're doing. But in Tokyo Decadence, it's quite the contrary, the lead character hardly says a word through the whole film. But you still learn so much from her expressions and way of dealing with the many different wack-job clients she has. (These include dominatrix, sadists, and necrophiles to name a few.) This is the first film like this where I've actually felt sympathy for the main character. She obviously has big dreams, presses forward to improve her situation in life constantly, only to be brought down by the degrating clientel she encounters every night. Overall, the acting is superb! As far as story is concerned, there is a serious lack of information given toward the middle of the movie. She keeps carrying around a picture of her with this guy, even going as far as buying expensive jewelry as good luck charms to get him back, ....but we don't know who he is, how she knows him, ..nothing. But despite, minor holes in the plot, the film never loses sight of the point it's trying to make. And as I said, subtlety is what makes this film powerful. It's what the characters aren't saying and showing that brings you closer to the film. One last note, the film DOES live up to it's NC-17 rating. But then again, most asian films do.
