Very satisfying movie to watch. A reminder of just how wide this world is we live in, aside from how deep it is. A strange story of eight teenagers getting up to no good in a foreign version of rebelling. The story is told and retold by different members of the 8. With each retelling the absurd becomes believable, and this even though each version is different. These kids use sex to hurt, but they don't realize it at first. A marvelous story and direction.

A submissive hooker goes about her trade, suffering abuse at the hands of Japanese salarymen and Yakuza types. She's unhappy about her work, and is apparently trying to find some sort of appeasement for the fact that her lover has married.
Most films dealing with prostitution that I've seen have been very straight forward. In other words, the characters have been very loud, and to the point about what's going on in their heads. However, the lead character in Tokyo Decadence comes out differently than you might expect . In most films that portray prostitution as a hard and unsettling life, ( Whore, Leaving Las Vegas...) the main character is trying real hard to act like they enjoy what they're doing. But in Tokyo Decadence, it's quite the contrary, the lead character hardly says a word through the whole film. But you still learn so much from her expressions and way of dealing with the many different wack-job clients she has. (These include dominatrix, sadists, and necrophiles to name a few.) This is the first film like this where I've actually felt sympathy for the main character. She obviously has big dreams, presses forward to improve her situation in life constantly, only to be brought down by the degrating clientel she encounters every night. Overall, the acting is superb! As far as story is concerned, there is a serious lack of information given toward the middle of the movie. She keeps carrying around a picture of her with this guy, even going as far as buying expensive jewelry as good luck charms to get him back, ....but we don't know who he is, how she knows him, ..nothing. But despite, minor holes in the plot, the film never loses sight of the point it's trying to make. And as I said, subtlety is what makes this film powerful. It's what the characters aren't saying and showing that brings you closer to the film. One last note, the film DOES live up to it's NC-17 rating. But then again, most asian films do.

François is a film-maker, usually impassive and without affect. He's making a film about women's pleasure as they transgress taboos. He doesn't know that two fallen angels who've been sent to upend him are manipulating his interest. He interviews young women, video tapes screen tests, and selects several for the film. The erotic scenes with them generate off-screen dynamics that may overwhelm the project. His wife is at first ignorant of his venture, then she's put off, and then becomes his assistant. The fallen angels are always close at hand: is François's ruin inevitable?
French film makers are prone to mixing banal philosophy and soft core porn. Their tiresome philosophies of pleasure are ALWAYS mere justification for voyeurism and mental masturbation for the predominantly male viewers, some of whom evidently hope that their wives and girlfriends will be stimulated too. They can thus escape the horrors of monogamy, if only in their minds. This transparently false justification is the essence of kitsch. On an intellectual level this film is no better than Exit To Eden, which also justified voyeurism and diluted forms of perversion with the same pretentious twaddle. But at least we are spared from seeing men in G strings and Rosie O'Donnell in a black corset and fishnet stockings. The borrowings from Orphee are obvious. Death is a sinister beauty, corrupt police do her work, and coded radio messages appear at random. Even the title borrows from Bunuel. However, little is done with these elements. They are tiny bits of brain candy for the critics, like finding Waldo. We do see some pretty girls, but they are mostly insane.

It's about sex and cohabitation. In the "language of love", everyone gets help with their problems and questions. Sabine is in love with Julia, but at the same time drawn to the irresistible TV presenter Stella Moon. Stella finds it difficult to find herself right in her life with the international model she has as a partner. Bernt feels that he is getting old and has problems with the potency. Peter is unhappy in his relationship and starts to suspect he is gay.
This movie is truly terrible. Its been massacred by all the movie critics in Sweden. Its supposed to be an sex-education movie, but I think it tries to hard to reach out to young people, so hard in fact that it has an opposite effect! A terrible fault this movie has is the actors. The woman who is supposed to teach girls how to masturbate is almost clean shaven on her vagina. This is NOT how most girls look "down stairs" The actor looks more like a porn star.
The script in the movie is extremely cheesy and bad. This movie WAS intended to be the main sex-education movie for kids in schools in Sweden but has been covered with dust since its so bad. So in conclusion this movie was a terrible disappointment!

She claims that their story was not yet over. A year later, the couple decides to reconstruct this story and make a semi-documentary film in the style of the French wave. But in the process, he turns into Gerald - his own alter ego. Gerald has been dissatisfied with what he is doing for many years.
The problem is neither the wanting acting, schizophrenic cinematography, exorbitant overuse of sexual imagery, nor the writer/director/actor's grossly inflated self-admiration; it is that collectively, there is maybe 10 minutes of anything remotely coherent to a story being told.

Franek is a talented art forger and painter who along with his loyal assistant Hazel - herself a talented artist - are commisioned by a glamorous madam to produce a piece for her brothel to hopefully drum up more business. Although his subjects at the brothel are beautiful, he yearns for more and calls upon his assistant to find more models. Stephanie, a beautiful and strong minded political activist who freshly expelled from university for her views answers the call and takes an instant liking to the shy painter. Her young friend Julia would be a perfect subject too, but she has recently been arrested for escaping the bonds of her cruel and much older husband, who just happens to be an influential police officer. The group literally (and metaphorically) free Julia meaning that Franek can hopefully complete what should be his masterpiece and hopefully find love for himself.
The cover pic for this DVD would indicate that this is an erotic girl/girl film, but that's basically a trick from the marketing people to get you interested in watching this dud, as there's really nothing even remotely lesbian about it. OK, I suppose there ARE a couple of brief encounters showing unclad young women in close proximity with other unclad women, but it's painfully obvious that the writer/director included these moments almost accidentally. This film's got an overall uninteresting storyline, and what little sex is included involves guys. But notice how they didn't show any guys on the cover pic? I guess that's because it's always hotter to pretend that your film is mostly about pretty naked girls! So why didn't they actually film it that way?

I love Voyeur. Everything about it is amazing. Story, actors and nudity. You can get the uncut or cut versions of this movie. Also for sale on dvd and Blu Ray Uncut which I own. The leading woman is gorgeous and the nudity is a turn on for any man. Not in a dirty way but appreciating the female beauty. I wont spoil the story but I love it. Son and Father story and with Italian Erotica you can expect great stuff. Tinto Brass is an amazing director as well. Everything in the movie is thought very well.

In an English cottage, four young people from London move in together, seeking to challenge social conventions and their own tolerances by engaging in scheduled partner-swapping. The durability of their new living arrangements is tested by the arrival of an outsider who fails to get in tune with the foursome's radical spirit.
The synopsis of this film is that four vulnerable young adults flee London to start an unconventional life in the country and find their very own Utopia. They have not all met before either so this has all the hallmarks of being interesting. Now I can't say any more than that without revealing parts of the plot – needless to say this has a few issues which I will deal with next – but please do not read if you do not want any reveals.
The film explores how they decide to explore this alternative lifestyle and this is basically by having acting and improv workshops as a prelude to a free for all in the bedrooms. They have rules too to underscore that there, effectively, will be no rules. They are also dyed in the wool upper middle class as nothing practical is covered at all. The food seems to magically appear – but they do have a rota for the terribly leaden part of life that is the cooking. There is a spark of interest when an outsider comes a calling and the apple cart looks like it may be upset, but this is a 'bridge' for a tune that is basically all more of the same.
Now this has received mixed critics reviews – some are very favourable indeed but user reviews tend to be less applauding and I am leaning towards those. There is a lot of nudity here too and simulated sex as well as 'self pleasuring'. If that is meant to be indicative of Utopia – all well and good – but cinematically and even artistically it is as new an idea as having a 'twist' in a thriller – unless of course you are doing 'art house porn'. And we all know that means it is just porn with more subtle lighting and untidy pubic hair.​
