In the end, the poisonous snakes are the poisonous snakes, who are first a murderous weapon and then an instrument of revenge.
From what I could work out, D'amato regular Laura Gemser plays erotic dancer Eva, who goes undercover to find the heroin smuggler responsible for the death of her lover Iris (a performer in live sex shows) and take revenge. If it all feels rather familiar, that's because D'amato re-uses loads of scenes from his own Black Cobra Woman (1976), splicing in hardcore from Porno Holocaust (1981), with a smattering of new triple-X content and some additional 'dramatic' footage to try and make his film feel less random. The result is a tedious mess that, at 100 minutes long, requires serious staying power (D'amato includes an interval halfway, presumably to give the viewer the opportunity to splash water in their face).

Its title suggests a Cheech & Chong comedy, but the porno Up in Flames makes that duo's movies look like Merchant Ivory productions in comparison. It's a lesson in how difficult it is for untalented people to do comedy. Stolen from the underground comics, this farrago toplines its erstwhile director John Seeman as an 80-year-old huckster calling himself Mr. Natural, who is proud of having conquered syphilis by using his home remedies. The Freak Brothers and Fat Freddie (who isn't fat at all) have non-adventures trying to raise rent money and go to bed with any woman who'll have them, while the drug "jokes" are improvised and merely silly. Released on Something Weird's Dragon Art Series, Vol. 9, this one does not live up in the slightest to the hilarity promised by the shill who wrote the video's liner notes. The sets are consistently ugly and so is the cast, with routine sex delivered between the one-liners. None of it is creative or diverting in the slightest, and among the more cryptic elements is a constant demand throughout of "be back here by sundown" or "have the money ready by sundown", as if the cast had been suddenly stricken with an idee fixee. Put simply, Dustin Hoffman as Rain Man has an IQ at least 10 times that of these disgusting characters.

Typical soft-core Brass film has a plot as flimsy as the clothing worn by the leading lady but then plots are inconsequential in films like these. Although her acting is limited to giggles and pouts, Ammirati is an attractive and alluring presence as a vixen in heat whose boyfriend won't do the deed until they're married, causing her to throw herself at every man she meets. The central plot device is to create situations for Ammirati to remove her skivvies (to use them as emergency bandage for her bleeding beau, because they itch, just because...). Grandi, the well-endowed star of one of Brass's earlier films, plays Ammirati's mother, who also has a tendency to drop her knickers.

Have you already seen FALLO? The women look great. Virginia, especially, is of an overtly plumper shape, slightly unusual even for Brass' world. Brass' humor is always decadent, coarse, mean, offensive, grotesque and violent and, therefore, also abstract. He might not be the greatest—yet he certainly is the most interesting and intriguing and naughty director. His stance is to take the lowest and surely meanest and most degrading view of most everything human; at this, he's far better than the artistic impostor Pasolini. This trend of porn comes from the cinematographic respectability—Fellini (--e.g., the fetish of plump divas--), Visconti, Cavani (--Antonioni filmed prettier stuff than these, but in an entirely other climate--); Bertolucci comes from the same sex—saturated atmosphere. Brass varied his approach, and took a coarser and plainer way in his last movies (--when it's not over—sentimentality--). His pornography has long been a theme of my writing.

This comedy has everyone's favorite 6 Swedish gals enjoying their stay in the alps. When the girls aren't enjoying the pleasure of their own company they're out having a good time with nearly everyone else in town.
"Six Swedes in the Alps" should be enough of a title to get the softcore aficionado into a lather. All those piercing blue skies, stunning mountain backdrops and a bevvy of blonde girlie full-drops....
But wait there. Sadly this is the last and the worst in the "Sechs Swedinnen" series. Despite what you might be led to believe, it does NOT star Brigitte Lahaie and the usual gang. Instead we are treated to a rather motley (and some might say manky) collection of eponymous heroines in various unexciting locations and poses.
There is no erotism at all in this film, and you can feel the twitch of the director's hand wanting to move to hardcore. The lousy and contrived scenes of our Swedish groupies are bizarrely cut with library footage of the Alps (often in different weather conditions). Frankly I would rather have stuck with the Alpine footage and got David Attenborough to narrate. It would have been more exciting than this turkey...

Mette and Soren also spend a lot of time together while Soren works on the script. When Soren presents the finished script, it is rejected as 'too unbelievable' by the very people it is about.
I sought out this Swedish movie via a recommendation from Daniel Ekeroth's excellent recent book "Swedish Sensationfilms" (although, come to think of it, he doesn't so much recommend this as he does include a VERY appealing picture of star Marie Ekorre). Unfortunately, when I got it, it turned out to be--despite having TWO different English-language titles--entirely in Swedish with no subtitles. But it isn't too hard to follow the standard porn scenario here. A young Swedish man is enlisted by his employer to make a pornographic movie. He happens to be secretly dating the employer's teenage daughter (thus one of the English-language titles), who--when she isn't shagging him silly--becomes interested in helping with the project. To do so, she does a lot of real-life "research"--like spying on her own father with another woman through a keyhole (thus the other English title and, I believe, the literal Swedish translation). Much sex and (perhaps) some hilarity ensues.

A sleazy but lighthearted odd couple of thrill-killer rapists drive around picking up young women, raping & brutalizing them. Due to the porn necessity of extended closeup hardcore sex scenes, director Bianchi drags this thin story out interminably and boringly.
Early action is a bit confusing, because one of their pickups turns out to be a transvestite, much to the consternation of the younger of the two perverts, who doesn't find out until he's made it nearly to third base with the cross-dresser. After that scene, the outraged macho character suddenly spends the rest of the film as a transvestite himself -still up to the task of raping the women, but helping out fronting with his partner as if they were a man & woman driving around rather than two creeps. It doesn't help Bianchi's already shaky narrative that our kinky anti-hero isn't the slightest bit convincing posing as a woman. Attempts at humor are very poorly done, as when the portly rapist must service his ugly, overweight wife or the unfunny antics of an old coot (possibly the rapist's dad) who wants to tag along on their nasty escapades and at least gets to join in on peeping tom action via a handy telescope.

Now this movie was certainly something out of the ordinary. i am not a porn person, but this is the closest thing to porn i have seen that is not porn!. the first hour carries on and you don't know what is going on, lots of sex scenes and given that its the 1970s man these girls are good looking. then a girl goes off to the woods and gets 'raped' by a beast. well rape is not the word because the last half an hour of the film is about her and the beast having lots of sex and it shows the male organ of the beast if you know what i mean and the fact that it shows the beast ejeculating is pretty sick but that is what its all about. i reccomend this movie for all the people that love sick movies such as salo, cannibal flicks, and sexual perversion jess franco films.

Shorts by eight directors examine the boundary between Eros and porn. A feral man masturbates with the aid of a whirling crankshaft; a sunbathing woman phones a doctor for a playful house call; a man with a quartz penis goes through lovemaking, castration, cannibalism, and restoration; a mouth and tongue, close up, lick viscous liquids of different colors and consistency; we watch a grainy film of a lesbian threesome, their eyes and genitalia crudely scratched out; a director interviews ten men, choosing one who picks among six actresses for a porn shoot; ink wash drawings become animated scenes of copulation; last, while an infant cries, a strobe illuminates adults at play.
Certainly politically correct, that is a danger sign in any film. Politically correct by focusing mostly on men and porn. This film was almost just like any other porn film. The tiny difference being the "art". Strobe light was the "art" in We f...ck alone (it was way too long. I got the "message" after 5 minutes). The "art" in Death Valley was none what so ever. Just a guy masturbating outdoors. I read on IMDb that the "art" was the fact it was shot in that particular valley. If you use your imagination, you can see art in everything. That is wonderful. Hoist was least like a porn, but 15 minutes of a man rubbing his penis to a machine shaft was OK ("art" and everything) for 5 minutes. In the film Impaled we saw the audition room instead of the "bed". It was amusing to see the young guys expressing their sexual desires. The "art" in Impaled was the bad lighting. I would have chosen the virgin. I went to the film expecting nothing, and I got nothing. A man cannot ask for more on a night at the movies.

However, how much longer can the Roman Empire tolerate the insane tyrant's uncontrollable mania?
The sets are wonderful. They are lavish and look authentic of the time, except as if a madman on acid was given a gigantic budget and told to "go at it!" Peter O'Toole is wonderful as the aging Tiberius. Malcolm McDowell gives a great performance as the young Caligula who kills his way to the throne of the Roman Emperor and then soon leads a legacy of terror. The supporting actors do a fine job yet, most of the young ladies were actually Penthouse Pets and were there for eye candy and irrelevant sex scenes. Depending on which film you are watching, the uncut or the R-version, some scenes are extremely graphic. I would usually always recommend the uncut version as opposed to the chopped one, but in this instance, the full length film is purely indulgent. Scenes of sex and gore were added to satisfy the producers (Penthouse) and the expected audience, not to add anything to the story. However, I am and will always be a fan of excess, so get the full version! The story is strong and keeps you interested. McDowell is charming throughout, which is quite the feat considering he murders family members, rapes and molests men and women, and sleeps with his sister. For fans of excess and sleaze, i highly recommend. Viewers who are purely interested in the reign of the notorious ruler might want to skip this one.

An American journalist travels throughout the world in search of a good story by joining a modern-day harem and traveling to Venice to see what really goes on at diplomatic parties. While trying to expose a corrupt government official, Emanuelle stumbles upon a group that uses kidnapped girls to make and sell snuff films. A brush with death leaves Emanuelle wondering if it is perhaps time to hang up her camera for good.
A good film by sleaze-master Joe D'Amato? No chance. Wait a minute, this one actually isn't too bad. Emanuelle's (notice, one "m", not Emmanuelle ©) forays into the aristocratic decay lifestyle get weirder and sleazier, culminating in the snuff footage in the end (modeled after Pasolini's "Salo", how ironical). It's not all bleak however, as Joe has a sense of humor. Case in point, Emanuelle and cohort having sex in the next room to an orchestra playing, and hysterically editing the sex with close-ups of the geek musos playing Ludwig's fifth. Or what about the ending? Emanuelle getting a vacation as a reward for her investigative journalism, only it turns to be a movie decor. It is only a movie after all.
