Betty (Angel) and Catherine (Ginger Lynn) are Catholic school girls who couldn't be more opposite. Catherine is a sexually active wild child who takes the overly shy Betty out to show her what she's missing. Before long Betty starts to get passed around and experiencing the art of sex.
TOO NAUGHTY TO SAY NO is a pretty strong and entertaining adult film that manages to take stars from the 70s and 80s and throw them into an all around fun movie. There's no question that this here is sort of a "greatest hits" of stars as we get current people like Angel, Lynn and Lisa De Leeuw but then you've got throwbacks like Jamie Gillis, Harry Reems, Eric Edwards and various others.
There are some extremely good scenes here including the opening sex scene where Gillis is on the bed with Lynn while talking dirty to Angel who is watching them. This was an extremely erotic sequence and certainly the highlight of the picture. The film moves along at a nice pace and the story itself might not be anything too original but it's at least done in a fun manor. The cast is certainly great and makes the film worth viewing.

Director Armand Weston followed up his groundbreaking (THE) DEFIANCE (OF GOOD) with this no less impressive rape 'n' revenge flick, also co-written (or "conceived" as the slightly pretentious opening credit would have it) and produced by performer Jason Russell. For the record, his wife Tina – one of the earliest genre superstars - was responsible for editing and make-up. Neither one appears on screen on this occasion yet they had been the stars of Weston's maiden effort PERSONALS from 1972. Though Christina would seem to adhere to a certain exploitation sub-genre centering on violation and subsequent retribution, Weston and Russell cleverly subvert audience expectations at every turn, creating a work as compellingly singular as their previous collaboration.

Pure porno corn is dished up in NASTY LADY, a well-shot but pointless Golden Age bit of marginalia. I like Tara Aire, but this is not a suitable vehicle for her. She's the umpteenth girl from the sticks who heads for the Big City (by train in this version of the fable) to make her way, and falls into bad company. Her high school pal Lynx Canon is working as a hotel maid, and the usual hijinks are shown.
Paul Thomas guest stars as the house lecher at the hotel. Tara starts posing for nude model's photographer David Morris. Jamie Gillis is the owner & bartender at a topless club where Lynx sings (badly). Highlight there is a kinky live sex show by Erica Boyer, with the distraction in the frame of famous porn performers popping up as extras to fill out the audience seats (for example, Rick Savage and Shanna McCullough).
A wistful ending complete with folk song doesn't fit the material at all. Same cast and premise could have been developed into something interesting, but not this time around. Tara Aire is also credited as production manager (very unusual for a lead actress), so at least she learned something on the job.

Late carnal critic and "acclaimed adult filmmaker" Jim Holliday was fond of describing JUSTINE as "a poor man's A SCENT OF HEATHER" and, as usually, he was not altogether wrong in his assessment. Released hot on the heels of Bill Milling's relatively lavish period epic, the similarities between the two are a bit too obvious as to be considered entirely coincidental. This variation from the reliable Roberta Findlay (who ground them out hard 'n' fast yet still maintained an impressive amount of quality, as evidenced by genre classics such as ANGEL #9 and THE TIFFANY MINX) may be set in the present day but still operates on a Mills & Boon level of convent-bred virgins and star-crossed lovers.
Naive Justine (surprisingly well-played by underrated Hillary Summers, one of very few adult actresses able to project innocence without coming across like a retard) bids her goodbye to the nuns to go and live with her recently deceased dad's estranged brother Steven, a convincing performance by habitual second banana Ashley Moore in what probably constitutes his finest work next to his memorable turn in Findlay's PLAYGIRL.

Adult film from Alpha France about two male buddies who are bored with their sex lives (even though they get it every day) and hear of an underground club where they can select women as servants and order them to do anything they want. The men then realize that it might be fun to be slaves so they auction themselves up. Needless to say there's a lot of sex so if these type of films are your thing then I'm sure you're going to enjoy it. This is the second film I've seen from this company and there's no doubt that they added a certain style, which is a lot better than what was being seen in American theaters. I'm not sure how much that really matters though since most people are going to be watching this for the sex scenes but most of them are all rather bland here. Cult figure Brigitte Lahaie plays a part as does Karine Gambier who would go onto work in Jess Franco's Voodoo Passion and Cocktail Special.

First the good news: this seventies Brigitte Lahaie classic is actually pretty funny (quite unusual as the French are not exactly known for their sense of humor). The bad news is that every single sex scene (and there are quite a lot) is accompanied by the same electric tune. But who notices the music anyway? Richard (Richard Lemieuvre) is asked to write an exciting story about call girls. Presumably he's working for the French Hugh Hefner or something. So, he asks Brigitte (Lahaie), his favorite call girl (who just happens to be, ah-um, visiting), for some inspiration. Seeing as she runs her own private club, Brigitte is able to tip Richard off every time one of her girls is on the job. Unfortunately, Richard is such a clumsy bumbler that he fails to get the story each and every time.
Brigitte runs 'Paris Tel 666' where three of her ladies are awaiting assignments: Karine Gambier (Ellie), Morgane (Marianne) and France Lomay (Carole). First up is Marianne, who travels to a chic château by limo to please a rich female client (Monique Carrére).

Judge Gregor von Klingenberg is being honored for his honorable work as well as his upstanding family. But in reality he is a sadist who mistreats his maid Friederike on a regular basis. It's a day in the life of a mousy secretary desperate for a shag. Or two. Or more. The film starts even before her day does, when she's still in the middle of a wet dream involving some of her co-workers (Alban Ceray and Barbara Moose). Being woken by the alarm clock only makes her more determined to finish her session of solo love. As she hops into the shower for some more self pleasing, we recognize this brunette as being a young Brigitte Lahaie. Although apparently the title "I am a beautiful bitch" refers to her, the only place this bitch can get any is in her mind. And a particularly dirty mind it is too, constantly imagining herself having sex with everyone that comes within the distance of a couple of feet from her. Yes, this is one of those sex films where every act of intercourse is imagined, and the dialog is kept to a bare minimum. The few lines that are spoken seem to be improvised, so don't bother looking up memorable quotes on this one.

Calling Leonard Kirtman controversial would suggest that someone out there actually likes him ! The subject of many a '70s skin flick starlet's horror story, he may indeed be the most universally despised figure in all of adult. Still, there's just no getting around the fact that Kirtman's something of a cornerstone in skin flick history, supplying much '60s sexploitation stuff through Kirt Films, keeping Distribpix in dough throughout the decade. He notoriously frightened then fledgling Veronica Hart almost right back out of the business when he unceremoniously "stepped in" for an inconveniently flaccid Zebedy Colt on the set of TARA. He would also prove instrumental in said superstar Seka's separation from husband Ken Yontz, at whose behest she agreed to cooperate with the middle-aged wannabe movie mogul.

Light-hearted frothy fun from production and distribution company Alpha France, which had a near monopoly on French porn theaters at the time, and one of their most versatile in-house directors, the ubiquitous "Burd Tranbaree" a/k/a Claude Bernard-Aubert, whose legitimate film-making career had started in the late '50s with the earnest war drama PATROUILLE DE CHOC. Catering to predominantly bourgeois tastes of the Continental adult movie-going audiences, Bernard-Aubert frequently focused on the sexual shenanigans of comfortably middle class characters who apparently never needed to work for a living, leaving that much more time for lusty leisure, this in stark contrast to his blue collar brethren at Alpha France like Francis Leroi and Jean-Claude Roy a/k/a "Patrick Aubin" who would invariably pay lip service to the economic necessity of employment as fuel for their fleshy fantasies.

Really super little film featuring the lovely, Annette Haven and a really plucky performance from Georgina Spelvin. Amazingly naturalistic for a US porno, this even includes a condom, an older woman, outdoor sex, soft bosoms AND was that a real female orgasm!? A little dark and slightly over ambitious now and again but generally faultless and very stimulating. Even the guy is acceptable, not hard every second but not gay either - great performances all round. Bit of a corny ending but then the way the tale unfolds, it was always going to be thus and this is after all truly a 'couples' porno, so why not a lovey dovey ending? Splendid.

Of all the Laure Sainclair vehicles churned out by video mogul supreme Marc Dorcel this definitely stands as my personal favorite. Not that it's all that different from the others, at least not superficially that is. It still has the type of story line we've all seen dozens of times before in porn, i.e. bored, betrayed, upper middle class housewife gets her revenge on hubby as well as a thrill or two of her own by enlisting in a luxurious bordello. Yep, it's BELLE DE JOUR all over again and that kind of stuff was hardly original even back when old Luis Bunuel tackled it in the late '60s. What makes this stand out from a thousand other heavy breathing XXX-raters is the careful attention to detail only an old time director (in this case "Michel Barny" a/k/a. Didier-Philippe Gerard who's been making porn films since the mid-'70s) cares to bring to any such project, exquisite lighting (rare in shot-on-video and much softer than in other Dorcel productions) and great imagination as well as heat in the intricately set-up sex fantasies at the bordello.

Quite a surprise when this one came out of the box, courtesy of Vinegar Syndrome. Great picture quality that screams the 1970s. Both the exteriors and the costumes as well as the interior decoration, there's no mistaking when this movie was made.
Another surprise is the quality of the acting and the competency of the tale told, and of course the vigorous action. Anthony Spinelli has done a fine job here and I look forward to seeing more of his sleazy 42nd Street style action.
Difficult to find much more to write without simply giving away all the scenes but certainly a highly recommended film of its type.

Thing I can really appreciate about this movie is how professionally it got done. The movie almost gets approached like a 'normal' and more serious movie, meaning that it has some good camera-work and some great settings and costumes. It's an erotic take on the Dracula story, that's definitely not original or anything groundbreaking within its genre but the film-makers still did a good job at making it a quality production, with lots of time and effort put into it, which eventually all pays off for the movie in the end.
A great touch as well was the addition of some comedy. Lets face it, the movie porn industry often takes itself far too serious, while this movie seems to realize all too well that what they are doing is quite ridicules and nothing that would win them any awards, so they decided simply to have some fun with it. It really makes this movie quite an entertaining one.
