According to her, she was a model at the Ford Agency and saw that there were auditions for this film. She did not know what kind of movie it was, so she tried out and landed the part. Now, exactly what point she figured out what sort of movie it is is unclear, but we do know that she ended up going through with it. The producer was Bill Osco, probably best known at that point (and maybe even today) for "Flesh Gordon". The director, Bud Townsend, had made a few horror films, "Terror House" and "Nightmare in Wax", which are largely forgotten today, even by fans of cult horror.

Let me first begin by saying that this film may not be for everyone. People expecting wall to wall sex will probably get bored with the film early on: The first sex scene doesn't happen until nearly thirty minutes into the movie, and the overall movie has about 4 sex scenes. But what scenes they are! And the plot is executed so well that it could stand by itself and still make for an entertaining movie. The plot centers around an Asian crime syndicate known as Dragon, which is hired to steal the formula to a chemical substance that enables total memory recall. As the movie progresses, you learn that most of the scientists associated with the R&D of this compound have been abducted and interrogated by Dragon; unfortunately for the syndicate, they were all associated with coming up with uses for the substance and have no knowledge as to its structure. Enter Drs. Olinski(played by a lucky bastard I've never seen before) and Hartgrave (played by the illustrious Annette Haven), the two principal researchers on this drug. The US government, concerned by all the kidnappings, assigns two security agents to guard the good doctors. Nevertheless, Dragon manages to kidnap both: First Olinski, then Hartgrave.

Yes, this flick not hiding reality which is money talk. In addition you have some plot, music, scenery, skin, pornography etc. Attractive professional nonsense in English make it memorable.

Oddball production, shot in the Greek islands, looks a lot like an Ilia Milanakos nudie of c1977. Mysterious man washes ashore. Is he a murderer sought by the police? He tangles with cute little blonde beach girl and with townie who does (as HUSTLER noted at the original release) look astonishingly like Alfred E Newman. He has sex with both of them. They have sex with other people, and each other. The police chase him. What really constitutes a happy ending in a film like this? As a straight nudie this might have been a tolerable offering. As an honest-to-God hardcore it might have had its moments, too. The finished product, however, is a bit of a dog (sorry, Jack). There is a lot of softcore-style groping and grinding, and a fair amount of insert XXX, spliced into the softcore scenes but clearly performed by different people at a different time and often rather crudely matched. This technique does not work one bit better here than it did in any other film where they tried to turn a softcore into a hardcore in the editing room.​

Fun and rather interesting porno from the Golden Era has a young woman showing up to the office of a cartoon artist who educates her on adult comics. SEX IN THE COMICS is basically paying tribute to the "Tijuana Bibles," which were adult comic books. These books were usually a few pages long and featured dirty stories with pornographic images. I've never actually read one of these or held on in my hands but from what I gathered these were done for both comic effect as well as their dirty nature. This film from Anthony Spinelli basically tries to re-create the stories that you would see in them and that light-mood is what's on display in this film. Pretty much every single story is over-the-top, exagerated and you can just tell that the filmmakers were trying to be as silly as possible. I will give them credit though as some of the episodes are rather erotic.
The one problem with the film is that at 81-minutes it runs on way too long. The comic nature is pretty much the same in each episode so the film begins to feel a bit too long during the final stretch so I think the film would have been much better at around a hour mark.

The filmmaker Emilio Portici also made crummy 1-day XXX wonders, but with VIRGIN he tried a whole lot harder, with good results. Instrumental to the film's success is star Nicole Vadim (her agent must have dug French imports), a talented lookalike for Ally Sheedy. She plays Annie, a girl from Kentucky who's raped by her step-dad after he catches her humping with a neighbor boy. Despite this set-up, she's still a virgin (in the twisted logic of porn).Story is told largely in flashback from the vantage point of her success a year later, from the back seat of her Rolls Royce.
Stealing stepdad's money and car, she headed for Miami Beach, getting as far as Tahiti Beach. Now broke, she gets picked up on the beach by redhead Barbara, who gives her a place to say. Soon Barb and her buck-toothed roommate Carol have begun showing Annie the ropes, to join them in their lucrative call-girl profession.

This is a jolly and likable soft core sex movie. I'm taking the date from IMDb listing but am fairly certain this was the US release date for a film more likely to have been made in the late 70s. It may be that it is as a result of the director's limited abilities but the fact that this seems to jump about, with a scenario seemingly set up only to be abandoned, but it does mean this is never boring. Even the sex scenes, of which there are many and varied, are not over long. Tina Eklund, as the large buxom co- lead does really well and certainly seems to be enjoying herself. Ever reliable Ajita Wilson also helps this sunny, infectious movie, happily along. Some of the dubbing is a bit lazy, for instance someone says they are going off to change, but don't, breakfast is announced and missed out, but then like the seeming sloppiness of the direction, these quirks are not unwelcome. Did I mention Ajita in conversation with a mule? Probably not and I've no idea where the title comes from.

The exploitation branch of the Swiss film industry consisted for a long time of just one man: Erwin C. Dietrich. This film is a rather typical product of his early 1980s softporn period. As in almost all films directed by Dietrich, Peter and Walter Baumgartner were responsible for cinematography and music, respectively. Both did an exceptional job here, although one might object that Walter Baumgartner's beautiful musical score has little connection with story and characters. However, it fits very well with these plentiful depictions of blossoming fruit trees Dietrich is so keen on, and my best guess is that these blossoms serve as an allegory for the blossoming young ladies the movie is about.

This early (1990) major feature from Bigas Luna is the one which not surprisingly got him noticed. It is an uncompromising study of sexuality, exploring desires which most directors would shy away from on and probably off the camera. Italian actress Francesca Neri plays the lead character. It's an erotic, uninhibited performance, taking Lulu from an innocent virgin with a crush on her brother's friend to a woman so desperate for carnal gratification that she trawls bars looking for men with which to have three-way sex. For some, the film's frankness masturbation, homosexual sex and cunnilingus and exploration of everything from transsexual sex to incest might bring it close to pornography. But it is refreshing to see these challenging areas of sex dealt with by a competent director and good cast of actors. It hints at the themes which would run through Luna's later work, such as Jamon, Jamon and Golden Balls but without the quirky humour of those films. Slightly exhausting, perhaps taking on too much of the dark side of sexuality.

This is perhaps the most enjoyable of e Aristide Massaccesi's EMANUELLE movies, relatively free of the sadistic excesses of more extreme installments such as EMANUELLE IN AMERICA and EMANUELLE AND THE LAST CANNIBALS. As in the previous episode, EMANUELLE AND THE WHITE SLAVE TRADE (a/k/a VIA DELLA PROSTITUZIONE and at least half a dozen other titles), our intrepid girl reporter (still played by statuesque Laura Gemser who hails from the isle of Java in the former Dutch Indies) is hot on the trail of an international white slavery ring.
Having said thanks to the lorry driver (US adult superstar Paul Thomas) who picked her up naked in San Francisco harbor in her customary fashion, she bumps into old friend and colleague Cora Norman (German nudie starlet and later middle-aged Queen Mum of Spaghetti Hardcore Karin Schubert) who has found a lead to the gang's whereabouts in Rome. Before she can go check this out however, Emanuelle's editor demands that she'd do an exposé on some trendy Indian guru (exploitation mainstay George Eastman a/k/a Luigi Montefiori) in sunny Bombay instead. This makes for the best (and funniest) part of the movie as bored housewives from all over the world flock to the temple to experience the guru's heavily hyped "prolonged orgasm" techniques. Naturally, the guy turns out to be a fraud as Emanuelle soon learns when she makes love to him and he turns out to be a touch, well, premature !

This has got to be the fastest I have ever jumped at seeing a movie before. A porno puppet movie. Jeez, do I need help or what. Speaking of my mental state, I'd just like to say Let My Puppets Come was surprisingly good and made this little brain of mine pretty dang happy. The story revolves around group of businessmen who have failed in their latest business venture. Mr. Big, played by Rufus in Bloodsucking Freaks, backed their previous venture and he now wants his money back or else. Well, the guys hatch a plan to get his money back and make a little of their own. They decide to make a stag film. A skin flick. A porno movie! And that's just what they do. They even make some X-rated commercials to put in the movie as well. My fav being the one for women's hygiene, called Sweet Fish. Well, the movie is a nice lil treat for fans of the bizarre, fans of porn and definitely fans of Meet The Feebles. It's got bestiality and some nice puppet bj's. Can't go wrong with puppet bj's now can ya? No siree Bob. So if you're in the mood to check out something really goofy and unique give Let My Puppets Come a chance.

A delightfully loopy surprise, DRAGUSE manages to strike the perfect balance between gothic horror and weirdo, off-kilter atmosphere. Apparently France's first homegrown X-rated release (at least according to the supplements on its new video version), DRAGUSE barely seems interested in being porn, featuring only about five minutes of actual hardcore, most of which are inserts that could easily be lopped out again (I guess if France's porn-legalization law of 1975 was repealed). Weirdo plot finds an author dreaming of a ghostly woman in a cursed mansion, then getting assigned by his publisher to go to a country hideaway to work on some erotic novels. Arriving there, he's oddly delighted - rather than creeped out - to find it's the house from his dreams, complete with the woman.

This is a well shot, good looking erotic outing from Mr D'Amato making full use of his convent setting and realistic looking nun costumerie. There is a good old mix here of sex action, mainly but not exclusively girl on girl. Pretty explicit and suddenly, surprisingly hardcore for, of all things, the double rape in the woods. A story of sorts but this is really much as you would expect from nunsploitation but with just a bit more style and variation than usual. Slows just a tiny bit when the wizened little 'man of God' turns up to exorcise the place but we are soon storming to a super finale as the poor man walks the corridors splashing his holy water whilst the girls are inside their rooms making their own little splashes. In fact so carried away do they get that they are soon chasing after the little chap in various stages of undress eager to get him stripped off, God or no God!

The perpetrator of such “barbarism” is a clumsy astrologer sent from the capital to the school to supply the suppressant to the horniest girls. But of course, in parallel, an unorthodox scientist arrives in the same village, on the same day, to test an aphrodisiac in the brothel. A series of astonishing events take care of the rest, amid laughter, sex, and histrionics.
