Why are all these scenes in gay movies? Are these made for Filipino bisexuals and women who are into gay porn? It's such a specific category and makes it not very appealing for me to skim through hours of gay softcore just to find one good hetero scene, there's got to be a sub-genre for these Pinoy movies that are not gay films, right?

I'd assume the intended audience would be bisexual and gay men, bisexual and straight women and even gay women as for some reason it seems they also masturbate to male on male on porn. I'm a straight male and wouldn't try to make sense of it.

And it's not unique to the Phillipines, same thing happened in the USA when it still had a softcore movie industry to speak of. The directors were predominantly gay or bi (which makes some sense as you don't usually go into smut if you're afraid of dick) and often the raunchiest pictures & videos you could find of softcore bmovie queens was in their gay-themed movies like the David Decoteau stuff or magazines like playgirl.
As for why the gay-themed stuff could be made more explicit/push the boundaries compared to the straight stuff, I can only speculate that by their very nature they were already more underground movies, in a grayer area, and the chicks might have figured none of the perverted straight male fans they were teasing/building up hype with in their milder straight work would have the courage to go spelunking in gay-themed movies to look for their scenes.
