I find the basic scene dark, which is undoubtedly intentional, it must have been a choice of the directors, but in my opinion, it doesn't highlight the two actors and the scene. I also found the sound a little weak in the basic film, but I thought it would be better with a slight gain.

The modification remains slight, but I find that it loosens up the shadows a little.

The two valiant actors deserve it.

None of the intimacy & intensity of for example, Ludmila Ruoso and Mathieu Almaric's scene in Histoire de Richard O. Not unsimulated (though Mathieu does have a visible erection), but yet convincingly intimate. Too bad the scene was so short. Would've been mind-blowing had it been longer.

Even Irene Azuela's infamous scene with Jose Yazpik in Las Oscuras Primaveras is far above.
