Well, as consolation - she only fell off into softcore quite some time after the movie. From what I gather from an old interview, she was a theatre actress.

1. Steven McAlistair didn’t originally plan to audition for the lead male role in Matinée, but came to keep an actor friend company when the friend auditioned. A trained ballet dancer, Steve did not think of himself as an actor. Once at the audition, however, he thought the character might be right for him.

2. Steven and Alicia met each other for the first time at the Matinée auditions.
