This a tremendous ambitious project by the way "Our project consists of over 700 hours of material all shot on 35mm out of which the company is making feature films, TV series and a slate of science and art documentaries, as well as a trans-media project" 700 hours of 35mm rolls is insane, it cost about $800-$1000 per roll of 1000 feet, which is 11 minutes of footage and then you consider the rescan and transfer costs... whew. They also built one of the largest set ever and they filmed for 3 years. Who the hell funded this?

I think it's a cinematographic work of art! The explicit sex scenes are just the cherry on the cake. Can't wait to watch the next installments. And I agree, it's not expensive.

I just don't like the way they edited and shot those scenes, really did nothing for me, if you're gonna show the guy finish why not show the rest. I mean there's a 95% chance that they really did fuck, but I need that little glimpse of confirmation or else I just put it in the pile of forgettable scenes. To me the best example is in "Chroniques sexuelles d'une famille d'aujourd'hui", where you barely see a couple of frames of penetration with Adeline Rebeillard, but just enough to know it's real. Does anyone know how often do the Dau segments get released? As I can see from their website, 6 have already been released, and the 8th and 9th ones in the row have (+18), so if they are in line with the other 2 segments that were (+18), they should contain explicit sex.
