The Love Making of All About Anna
Gry Bay herself gives us her opinion on the various controversies the film generated due to the explicit sex sequences included in "All About Anna," in which she plays a special role. According to her, it's not simulated sex, but it can't be considered a pornographic film either. Some of the technical cast also offer their critical perspective, comparing Jessica Nilsson's film with other projects from the production company Puzzy Power, a subsidiary of Zentropa, Lars Von Trier's production unit. After "Constance" (1998), "Pink Prison" (1999), and the gay project "HotMen, CoolBoyz" (2000), Innocent Pictures attempted to continue the cinematic concept of explicit sex in conventional narratives without much success.

Painting Anna’s apartment
As originally conceived, this scene had a longer, sensual type foreplay. In Editing it was discovered, however, that a more horny, casual eruption of the sex act gave a better portrayal of Anna’s lifestyle and state-of-mind at this point in the story, as she is focused on raw fun, trying to avoid romantic relationships. Anna pleasures herself
As originally scripted, Anna pleasures herself while frustrated by the sounds of Camilla and Albert having sex in the next room. During editing, the footage was instead used as part of a flashback sequence. Complete Director’s Cut scene.
