Online services provider VK Company Limited will exit the London Stock Exchange and re-register in Russia.
After state registration in Russia, VK will become an international joint-stock company under Russian law with its registered office in the Special Administrative Region (SAR) on Oktyabrsky Island, Kaliningrad Oblast. The company's name is to be officially written in Cyrillic letters in the future.
That means US copyright violations will no longer be prosecuted. User data may not be released either.
This results in a paradise for cinema/TV/video pirated copies.
