Enhanced videos in slo-mo of Jacqueline McKenzie's real sex scenes in the Australian 1992 movie, Romper Stomper.
The movie that was presented at the Film Festivals had sex scenes that were much longer. In a Movie Chat discussion about the movie's sex scenes, a viewer posted "Incidentally I saw a very early print of the film at a festival in Canada prior to its general release, and the second sex scene with Davey and Gabe was even longer and more graphic than in any subsequent DVD release. There were very few edits, just one long sex scene that was obviously unsimulated as you could see insertion. That scene was definitely gratuitous, and I remember the entire audience shifting rather uncomfortably wishing the scene would be over sooner than later."
In the DVD Director's commentary at 18:55, the director's comment during the sex scene with Russell Crowe confirms that the sex scenes were real, saying "People will often ask me 'were they really getting down and dirty', and the answer is 'Yes'".
Russell Crowe during the 2017 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards also made a cringe-worthy joke about the incident:
“I didn’t actually intend to do that – I was trying to keep my bits away from her bits, and she’s been given one of those pieces of elastic that the girls get when you do those scenes, which protects them from all things, and my bits and pieces were in a little canvas sack with a drawstring. And it was actually my desire to keep the bits apart. It wasn’t until the opening night of the film that it was pointed out by none other than Jackie McKenzie’s beautiful late mother that we were in fact, in her mind, engaged in sodomy. Anyway, that was just a story about sensitivity!”
The sex scene on the Blu-ray release is extensively cut and cropped, with nothing showing that suggests anything.

With regard to the sex scene with Daniel, the Director confirms that it was real, remarking at 1:15:25 that Daniel "certainly enjoyed that scene with Jackie".
You get a hint of the penetration in the scene, which is rather short. Too bad the initial longer film festival version is not released as a DVD extra.
